Responsibilities
Our client is a renowned insurance firm with a strong footprint in Asia. With a surge in business
growth in the APAC region they are looking for a seasoned infrastructure engineer to be part of the
team. Your main responsibilities will be:
– Accountable for Windows server management such as Active Directory, file and application
servers, Exchange servers, VMware server and Blackberry. to ensure smooth IT operations
– Oversee network infrastructure support planning, implementation, and monitoring
– Support ongoing technical support related to system, network and security infrastructure
based on the latest technology and compliance requirements
– Collaborate with different teams on production & UAT environment control and system
change, BCP & Disaster Recovery site setup and maintenance
– Prepare and develop relevant support documents
– Implement and supervision of system and network infrastructure improvements, security
upgrades and troubleshooting
– Mentoring and coaching of staff in the team to ensure deliverables are met in a timely
manner
Requirements
– A Bachelor’s degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline
– At least 8 years of relevant working experience in Windows server administration and
network administration for a bank
– In depth knowledge of MS Windows servers, MS Exchange, centralized backup solution,
Blackberry BES Server, Email Archive and VMWare Server management
– Familiar with Linux systems and knowledge on scripting languages (Shellscript/Python)
– Self-motivated, with excellent analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
– A team player with good interpersonal & communication skills
